ACSA asks school leaders to support Prop. 2

ACSA and its coalition partners need school leaders’ help to spread the word about Proposition 2, the statewide school facility bond, and to demonstrate support through LEA school board resolutions. A sample resolution is available on ACSA’s Resource Hub for LEAs to review and personalize.
Prop. 2 provides $10 billion for vital projects to repair, upgrade, and construct schools and community colleges by funding the K-12 School Facility Program, which is a successful partnership between the state and local communities that has been in place since 1998.
The ballot measure also includes updates to the K-12 School Facility Program that will help disadvantaged school districts, such as low-wealth and small school districts that may need technical assistance and help with reaching targets for state matching funds.
