ACSA leaders from throughout the state gathered for the October Leadership Assembly in Ontario earlier this month.
They heard updates from Executive Director Edgar Zazueta, ACSA’s Governmental Relations team and a report on membership in the association. Attendees also participated in a discussion of “Educator Burn Through: Considering the Systemic Foundations for Wellness in Leadership” presented by Amanda Goldman and learned about First Amendment rights with Namita Brown of F3 Law.
ACSA leaders also honored ACSA’s Executive Associate Lori Allred, who will be retiring soon after 38 years with the association. Staff at the Doubletree Hotel who have worked with Allred over the years to set up this annual meeting presented her with cakes in honor of her retirement.
