Through its annual awards program, ACSA honors outstanding administrators and community organizations for their achievements and dedication to public education.
The nomination window for ACSA’s 2025 Administrator of the Year and special awards opened on Aug. 1. If you plan to nominate a colleague this year, statewide awards coordinator Emily Agpoon recommends that you start working on the nomination now to give yourself plenty of time to complete your submission before the January deadline.
“We urge everyone to start today to avoid running out of time in January,” Agpoon said. “Letters of recommendation and criteria explanations can take longer than you expect, but well-written forms with specific examples will go a long way in making sure your nominee stands out.”
Resources on the Awards Program website include a video tutorial of the platform, helpful dos and don’ts, frequently asked questions, a program timeline and sample forms, checklists and criteria for each award category.

  • Partners in Educational Excellence Award (awarded to a school-community partnership program).
