Leading Edge Flex certification
ACSA has partnered with Riverside County of Education to offer Leading Edge Flex Certification, a self-guided online professional learning experience designed to help educators build digital skills to be 21st century leaders.   Leading Edge Certification is a national certification program in educational technology and curriculum innovation that offers professional learning backed by an alliance of nonprofits, universities and educational agencies.  Through the Leading Edge online, personalized learning platform, participants choose from activities within Leading Edge missions to earn their certification. Each mission has been designed and developed with the educator in mind, effectively balancing technology integration, appropriate tools, and useful resources.  Activities are short and incremental, allowing learners to experience bite-sized learning and choice. Participants have a full year to complete their certification online.  Choose from three elective pathways:   Administrators — Build the digital skills to work effectively and efficiently to model instructional and learning strategies for students and staff. The Leading Edge Administrator pathway focuses on site, district and regional administrators and how to effectively utilize technology tools, resources and innovative solutions to advance student achievement, foster educator productivity and extend learning opportunities for all.  Professional learning leaders — Sharpen your skills and infuse your professional learning with technology to enhance your practices, engage students and model the differentiation and personalization possible in today’s educational environments. The Professional Learning Leader pathway focuses on those who provide professional development to educators across all curricular areas. Explore, discover and grow as a leading educator.  Digital educators — Equip your teachers with modern skills and a fresh approach with Leading Edge Flex Digital Educator. Accelerate learning and discover ways in which to effectively facilitate online and blended courses, encourage personalized learning for students and support positive classroom management, all in one place. Share alternatives with students to think critically, communicate, collaborate, and create with technology-rich learning.  Learners will submit evidence of their achievements to earn badges in one, two, or all three of these pathways.  Cost: $250   Where:
