Members of ACSA’s Legislative Policy Committee gathered on the state Capitol’s Senate Floor on Jan. 7 to meet State Sen. Dave Cortese and to hear from Assemblymembers Alex Lee and Jose Solace about the legislative process.

The visit was part of an orientation for members of the Legislative Policy Committee, which helps establish ACSA’s position on proposed legislation, identifies areas of needed legislation affecting ACSA members and public education, and assists in establishing ACSA’s legislative platform.
