ACSA welcomes two new faces to Member Recruitment Team

ACSA is pleased to announce two new staff members to its Member Recruitment Team.
Fernando Elizondo, Ed.D., and José Porfirio Morales will be charged with recruiting ACSA members in regions 10 and 11 respectively.
“We are very excited to be adding two very highly respected and influential education leaders to our Member Services team,” said Senior Director of Member Services Margarita Cuizon-Armelino. “Both Fernando and José are long-time members who believe in ACSA, have had a hand in driving the organization, and who will help us successfully advocate for the benefits of membership.”
Elizondo is a top-level education executive with 38 years of experience working with language minority students as a classroom teacher, principal, central officer administrator, and California superintendent of schools. He is also a former Executive Director of the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators.
Morales is the former director of Kern County Superintendent of Schools’ California Migrant Education Program, which implements quality supplemental educational services for migrant students in Kern County. He has also assisted ACSA in the development of the Equity Leaders Academy.
