Back to school in style

Students from Smythe Academy of Arts & Sciences in Sacramento prepare for the new school year with a Back to School Bash presented by the Sacramento Children’s Home North Sacramento Family Resource Center and Assemblymember Kevin McCarty and sponsored by several organizations, including ACSA. Students were able to receive free backpacks, school supplies, food distribution, vaccinations, haircuts and more. More than 20 organizations provided resources and entertainment to the preschool-8th grade public charter school within the Twin Rivers Unified School District.
Students received fresh produce from the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
