Building connections
ACSA’s Board of Directors and senior staff members recently had to construct some of the world’s most recognizable structures — including the Golden Gate Bridge and the Taj Mahal — out of canned goods.

The literal team-building activity envisioned by ACSA President Dr. Rene Rickard was part of the recent Board Retreat and gave ACSA leaders an opportunity to build relationships and give back to the community.

Following the activity, the canned goods were donated to The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, which provides emergency food to 400,000 children and families, active-duty military, and fixed-income seniors living in poverty each month.
