California Casualty, an ACSA Partner4Purpose, recently awarded 30 grants to support the arts in schools, including two schools led by ACSA members.
Established in 2019, the California Casualty Music & Arts Grant helps address the financial challenges many schools face in sustaining music and arts programs. As budget constraints continue to impact creative programs, California Casualty increased the grant amount to $300, expanding its ability to support students and educators alike.
This year, 30 public elementary, middle, and high schools across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, and Wyoming were selected to receive a Music & Arts Grant. These funds help provide students with greater access to music education, theatrical opportunities, and artistic expression.
Among those 30 grant recipients are two ACSA members who applied on behalf of the following school programs:
  • Bowman Charter School (Ackerman Charter School District) – Band Program. Recipient: Superintendent/principal Kristin Wells.
  • Glendale High School (Glendale USD) – Instrumental Music Program. Recipient: Assistant Principal Dr. Bill Estrada Gallimore.
Proudly endorsed by ACSA since 1977, California Casualty provides tailored, member-only auto and home insurance solutions for ACSA members and their families.
