Donated desks provide a place to learn

Kenny Beckett and Darlene Figueroa, along with a group of supporters, came together to fill a need for students who did not have a place to complete distance learning assignments, including students new to this country, English Language Learners, and students in need. They are building and donating sturdy, compact desks.
Beckett and Figueroa, who is an alumna of Charter Oak Unified, are thankful for the donations that have been given to support this cause.
