Equality California, a leader in advocating policies and legislation supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, sent out surveys this past fall to roughly 350 unified school districts in California for its 2024 Safe and Supportive Schools Report Card.
For this third edition of the report and based on feedback from previous responding school districts, EQCA has streamlined the report card survey, making it easier and faster for school districts to respond.
If your school district has not yet completed its survey, please complete and return it to EQCA by March 15, but if that’s not possible, please send it by the end of March.
If you have questions or would like the link and log-in credentials re-sent to you, please contact EQCA at safeschools@eqca.org.
The Safe and Supportive Schools Report Card will not only validate the steps you’ve taken in your school district to better support LGBTQIA+ students but will also identify areas of growth. Thank you for supporting all students, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+.
