Destiny Hernandez is proof that it’s never too late to change your path for the better. In junior high, Destiny acknowledged she was not making the most of her potential. But thanks to the support and guidance of Hope Elementary School District superintendent Anne Hubbard, Destiny embraced a fresh start at Santa Barbara High. She also realized the importance of setting a positive example for her younger siblings. Determined to provide them with a better future, Destiny has thrived in her new environment and now has her sights set on college where she plans to major in criminology.
