Samantha Runge has suffered too much for a young woman her age. In 2013, her father tragically died after a long battle with addiction. Samantha found stability with her new guardians. But in 2020, tragedy struck again when her brother suffered a life-altering brain injury after a skateboarding accident. Samantha persevered thanks in part to the educators at Cypress High. Through it all, her spirit never wavered. In May, she fulfilled her dream and earned her high school diploma.
