Luigi Garibay is driven to be different from his surroundings. Born into a life of instability, he often had to depend on himself for basic things like food and clothing. Without role models, he was forced to create a new path as a means of survival. Amid the uncertainty, school became his sanctuary, and Luigi saw education as his way out. Thanks in part to the supportive staff at Heritage High, Luigi achieved his goal of earning his high school diploma. He plans to attend Cal State Fullerton in the fall, where he hopes to earn a degree in business.
