Adult education, Placer School for Adults, Placer Union HSD
Haley Hull’s journey shows it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Haley grew up in the country and was homeschooled as a child. After multiple years of trauma at the hands of her father, she stopped going to school in the fourth grade. By 2019, Haley was a single mom with two children. She found Placer School for Adults thanks to a magazine in the mail. With no high school credits, she faced an uphill battle. But Haley persevered and became an inspiration to her peers while juggling work, motherhood and academics. She plans to graduate next spring and hopes to further her education in the future while working for her family’s business.
“This is kind of a dream of mine to be able to graduate. I wanted that for my work so that I can provide for my kids, but at the same time show them that they could finish.”
