Stevie-Marie Rendon arrives at school each morning with a smile and a fist bump. You’d never guess she spent four years without a stable place to call home. For a time, she disappeared from school entirely. Then Pershing Continuation High gave her a fresh start, one built on trust, friendship, and a staff that believed in her. She found her footing on the softball field and her voice in the classroom. Today, Stevie-Marie is a high school graduate.
