Hector Ceballos grew up in a tough neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles. His childhood was filled with neglect as both of his parents were not present in his life. But Hector found a family through football. It provided an escape from his struggles at home. Hector excelled at wide receiver for the Franklin High Panthers. In 2021, he set a City Section record with 27 receptions in a game. He finished the season with 111 catches for more than 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns. Hector credits his teammates, coaches and educators at Franklin High for keeping him in the classroom and off the streets.
