Fabian Llanes is proof that if you have a dream and want it badly enough, you can make it happen. Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, Fabian quickly developed a love of basketball. The United States is the birthplace of the sport and Fabian had his sights set on competing against the best. In 2021, in the middle of a global pandemic, he packed his bags and moved to California. Amid housing insecurities, he found stability from Workman High basketball coach/counselor Martin Flores. Fabian credits his coach for not only finding him a home, but also becoming a part of his family.
