ACSA Executive Director Dr. Edgar Zazueta joined school management and labor organizations during a May 5 news conference to call for the restoration of Prop. 98 full funding and to oppose the proposal to withhold $5.6 billion from the education budget.

The news conference was held at River City High School in Washington Unified School District.

“Educators and school leaders show up every day, doing everything possible to support students, often while navigating growing challenges and limited resources,” Zazueta said. “California has a responsibility to honor its commitment to public education (and) to protect students.”
