1. Registration coming soon for clear credential program
Registration for the fall cohort of ACSA’s Clear Administrative Credential Program will open April 1. This induction program is grounded in the California Professional Standards for Education Leaders and provides individualized, one-on-one, job-embedded coaching over the course of the two-year program. Candidates enroll within one year of starting an initial administrative position, with coaching services starting within 30 days.

2. Title IX Compliance Training
ACSA has partnered with F3 Law for a new training that will address required components under the new Title IX rules. All Title IX Team Members are encouraged to attend, including Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, Decision makers/Appeal Decision makers and Informal Resolution Facilitators.
When: 12-2 p.m. April 19, 26 and May 3

3. Help build the bench
Help the next generation of school leaders begin their journey at Leadership Institute, ACSA’s Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program offered with the Sacramento County Office of Education. During this 10-month program, candidates look at essential tasks that successful leaders employ with a focus on strategies that achieve results. Courses go in-depth on critical leadership behaviors and systems and how they interact to create intentional change. Deadline to apply is April 29, 2022.
When: Fall 2022 cohort begins in August 2022
Where: Hybrid (in-person sessions involve travel to Southern California)

5. SELPA Alternative Dispute Resolution Workshop
Join Justine Melendez, coordinator for the Contra Costa SELPA, and Sara Castille, one of the three program specialists for the SELPA, for two engaging sessions to collaborate with peers on Alternative Dispute Resolution strategies.
