ACSA’s 2022 Superintendents’ Symposium will welcome back district and county office leaders in person for two and a half days of professional learning, networking and advocacy geared specifically to school superintendents. This annual conference is the perfect opportunity to review the governor’s preliminary budget and share information among a group of peers who understand the role of the superintendent and its challenges. Keynote presenters are john a. powell, Sean Covey and MJ Hegar.

The Classified Educational Leaders Institute will move from February to April. Stay tuned for more details on this event, which is designed for leaders in business/fiscal services, human resources/personnel, maintenance/operations, custodial, technology, facilities and student services/instructional, including confidential and administrative assistants.

The deadline to enroll in the winter cohort for ACSA’s Clear Administrative Credential Program is Jan. 31. New administrators must enroll in a Clear Administrative Credential Program to clear their credential. ACSA’s program offers individualized, one-on-one, job embedded coaching over the course of a two-year program. Start enrollment by contacting your Local Program Coordinator (list available online).

ACSA’s Equity Institute is back with the theme “Equity Envisioned: Mobilizing, Creating & Connecting.” This two-day conference is designed specifically for teams of principals and teachers, parent leaders, counsel-ors and central office administrators to deepen their explorations of how these pathways can lead us closer to our goals in pursuit of educational equity. This first-ever conference for LGBTQIA+ school leaders and collaborators has the goal of empowering California administrators to create safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ students and staff.
