2. Cultural Proficient Environment for ELL series
The Deeper Dive into Cultural Proficient Environment for English Language Learners series meets for four sessions with the final in-person session taking place over two dates at the Museum of Tolerance. These sessions define a culturally proficient environment for student groups through the lens of Randall and Delores Lindsey’s work. Participants will review data, identify barriers within their schools/districts and determine an action plan for systems that support all students.
When: 3:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 20, Feb. 27, March 5 (online); and March 11-12 (in-person)
Where: Online/Los Angeles
Cost: $149 ACSA members; $199 non-members; travel to the Museum of Tolerance (more than 50 miles) is paid through museum grants

3. CEL Institute registration now open
Join this year’s Classified Educational Leaders Institute and experience three days of networking and learning for leaders in business/fiscal services, human resources/personnel, maintenance/operations, custodial, technology, facilities and student services/instructional.

4. HR Boot Camp is coming
This three-part workshop will include a detailed calendar of events, procedures related to HR and a Human Resources Self-Assessment Instrument.

5. Master Schedule training offered in February/March
This one-day in-person workshop will provide the necessary basics for building a master schedule, including identification of essential “non-negotiable” components, realistic and necessary timelines, and a step-by-step, practical method for creating a schedule.
