1. Coast2Coast advocacy trip
Join the California School Boards Association and ACSA for the second annual Coast2Coast Federal Advocacy Trip to Washington, D.C., where attendees will shine a light on the issues affecting the state’s 6 million K-12 students. California governance team members — district and county board members and superintendents — are urged to attend this three-day annual event held in our nation’s capital.

2. Master Scheduling Workshop
The complexities of building today’s master schedule in both middle and high school can be overwhelming, especially if you have little or no master scheduling experience. Get a step-by-step, practical method for creating a schedule that provides course selection equity. You’ll leave this one day, in-person workshop ready to plan next year’s schedule. Three options to attend: Irvine USD (Jan. 31), Santa Clara COE (Feb. 10) and Sacramento (March 7).

3. Become an ACSA Leadership Coach next year
Dates for 2023 ACSA Leadership Coaching training are now available. This training emphasizes the application of adult learning theory, the importance of building and maintaining trust and rapport, the value of being a good listener, and the need to ask questions and provide feedback that promotes reflection and growth in educational leaders.
When: 12:30-3:30 p.m. April 5, 12, 19 and 26

4. K-12 site administrators networking series
ACSA has launched the K-12 Site Administrators Leadership Network, a new series sponsored by the ACSA Elementary, Middle Grades and Secondary Education Councils in collaboration with NAESP and NASSP. Each session will feature an essential leadership priority based upon statewide input from school site leaders.
When: Next session 4-5 p.m. Dec. 14.

5. Lead With Pride returns
ACSA’s Lead With Pride Summit will return in 2023. This conference will empower California administrators to create safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ students and staff. Sign up online to be notified when registration opens.
