1. Be a presenter at ACSA Equity Institute
Add “conference presenter” to your résumé by submitting a proposal to the 2022 ACSA Equity Institute, April 28-29 in Pasadena. Potential presenters are encouraged to consider the theme “Equity envisioned: Mobilizing, Creating & Connecting” in their proposals. Registration will be 50 percent off for presenters (up to 3 per session). Submit your proposal online at bit.ly/3rKNIP5.

2. New dates announced for CEL Institute
ACSA’s Classified Educational Leaders Institute has been moved to April. Join your fellow school leaders in business/fiscal services, human resources/personnel, maintenance/operations, custodial, technology, facilities and student services/instructional, including confidential and administrative assistants for this event designed especially for you.

3. SELPA Alternative Dispute Resolution Workshop
In this two-part virtual workshop, learn a conceptual framework for approaching and resolving conflict in special education. Join Justine Melendez, Coordinator for the Contra Costa SELPA, and Sara Castille, one of the three Program Specialists for the SELPA, for two engaging sessions to collaborate with peers on Alternative Dispute Resolution strategies.

4. Save the Date for Lead with Pride Summit
Mark your calendars for ACSA’s Lead with Pride Summit. This first-ever conference for LGBTQIA+ school leaders and collaborators has the goal of empowering California administrators to create safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ students and staff. Watch for more information on this inaugural event.
