1. Academies registration opens June 1
Get on the fast track to your next career move with ACSA Academies. Hybrid and virtual options will be available this year in certain leadership specializations. Apply early! Registration opens June 1 and many academies are limited to 30 participants.

2. HR Bootcamp: Surviving the First Year
This workshop is designed for administrators, classified managers and other support staff who are new to HR or interested in learning about the role and function of the Human Resources Department. Participants will benefit from this comprehensive overview of the myriad of tasks and responsibilities of the Human Resources Office.
When: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. June 15, 22 and 29

3. Registration open for Summer Leadership Institute
For the first time in two years, ACSA will host an in-person Summer Leadership Institute at UCLA. Join five days of intensive leadership training designed for experienced, new and aspiring principals. Space is limited, so reserve your spot at this unique leadership experience today!

4. Deadline extended for preliminary program
Help the next generation of school leaders begin their journey at Leadership Institute, ACSA’s Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program. Download the Leadership Institute flier online and send it to a teacher leader who may be interested in learning the next steps to becoming an administrator. Eligibility requirements and application are also online. Deadline has been extended to May 31, 2022.
When: Fall 2022 cohort begins in August 2022

5. August/Sept. sessions for ACSA Leadership Coaching
ACSA’s Leadership Coaching program emphasizes the application of adult learning theory, the importance of building and maintaining trust and rapport, the value of being a good listener, and the need to ask questions and provide feedback that promotes reflection and growth in educational leaders. Course is offered over four online sessions.
When: 1-4 p.m. Aug. 17, 24 and 31, and Sept. 7
