1. New superintendent? You need NSSS

ACSA’s New Superintendents Seminar Series is the only Professional Development Series that is specifically designed for the first- and second-year superintendent. NSSS allows new superintendents to tackle current issues in a confidential and supportive setting with the guidance of experienced, successful superintendents throughout the year. 2. The Human Resources Office Workshop

This virtual workshop series is designed for administrators, classified managers and other support staff who are new to Human Resources or interested in learning about the role and function of the HR Department. Participants will benefit from this comprehensive overview of the myriad of tasks and responsibilities of the Human Resources Office. 3. Academies registration now open

Registration for the 2021-22 ACSA Academies is now open. Build skills for your job, or get on the fast track to your next job, with 27 academies across 10 leadership specializations. When: 70-100 hours of instruction held on weekends throughout the school year; Academies begin mid-August through mid-October Where: Virtual/online only Cost: $1,285-$1,695, depending on Academy specialization Register: http://www.acsa.org/academies

4. Summit Call for Proposals

Add “conference presenter” to your resume — submit a proposal to present at the 2021 ACSA Leadership Summit, which will be live and in-person Nov. 4-6 in San Francisco. Find suggested topics that align with the conference theme, “Re-Imagining, Re-Inventing, Re-Designing, Through Resilient Leadership,” online. 5. Enroll in ACSA Clear Credentialing

ACSA is now accepting applications for the fall cohort of its Clear Administrative Credential Program. New administrators must enroll in a Clear Administrative Credential Program to clear their credential. Start enrollment by contacting your Local Program Coordinator (list available online).
