3. Share your expertise at Every Child Counts
ACSA is now accepting proposals to present at the 2022 Every Child Counts Symposium, Jan. 12-14, 2022 in Palm Desert. The 2022 theme is “Staying on Course IRL (In Real Life).” Topics should be related to special education and student services, such as equity, leadership and social-emotional learning. Find the submission form online. Deadline to submit is July 31, 2021.

4. New supts — this one’s for you!
ACSA’s New Superintendents Seminar Series is the only professional development series that is specifically designed for the first- and second-year superintendent. NSSS allows new superintendents to tackle current issues in a confidential and supportive setting.
When: Five sessions throughout the year (first session Sept. 10-11)

5. 2021-22 Academies registration open
Build skills for your job, or get on the fast track to your next job, with 27 academies across 10 leadership specializations. Academies will be held virtually this year. Some Academies (Special Education, Co-Administration and Personnel) begin in August, so reserve your space now.
When: 70-100 hours of instruction on weekends throughout the school year; Academies begin mid-August through mid-October

Cost: $1,285-$1,695, depending on Academy specialization
