1. Just announced: Summit Keynote Dr. Calvin Mackie
ACSA is proud to announce Dr. Calvin Mackie as the opening keynote for Leadership Summit. Mackie is an award-winning mentor, inventor, author, former engineering professor, internationally renowned speaker, and successful entrepreneur. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Mackie was appointed by then-Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco to help lead recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina. In 2013, Dr. Mackie founded STEM NOLA, a non-profit organization to expose, inspire and engage communities in learning about opportunities in STEM.

2. SARB: Effective Strategies for Implementation
There are many facets to the School Attendance Review Team and School Attendance Review Board process. In this workshop, you will be led through a step-by-step analysis of the SART/SARB process and walk away with tools to use immediately.

3. Personnel & Negotiations Symposium
Personnel administrators and negotiating teams will come together to discuss innovations, share insights, and foster new collaborations at this four-day learning event.

4. Title IX compliance training
With a federal district court recently vacating the 2024 Title IX regulations, school districts need to transition back to grievance procedures in the 2020 Title IX regulations. Jacqueline Litra, a partner with F3 Law, will present a four-hour session covering the 2020 regulations.
