1. Leadership Summit theme announced

2. Building Common Ground: Board Planning
Leading positive change in public schools requires increased preparation and political competencies. Participants in this series of three highly interactive workshops will improve their understanding of effective governance and build their expertise as leaders who promote public trust through their actions. Led by experienced superintendents Maria Gutierrez Ott and Vivian Ekchian, this session is intended for superintendents, superintendent/principals, assistant superintendents and other educators aspiring to the role.

3. Title IX Training
This two-part online training will address required components under the new Title IX rules for Title IX Coordinators, Investigators, Decisionmakers/Appeal Decisionmakers, and Informal Resolution Facilitators.

4. Baila Conmigo
This three-part virtual workshop will highlight chapters from the book, “Baila Conmigo: Mentoring Latinas as School Leaders.” The sessions will provide participants strategies for mentoring, coaching and advancing Latina leadership.

5. New supt? Start here
ACSA’s New Superintendents Seminar Series allows new superintendents to tackle current issues in a confidential and supportive setting with the guidance of experienced, successful superintendents throughout the school year. Topics covered include negotiations, governance and personnel issues.
