1. Leadership Summit updates
ACSA’s Leadership Summit will inspire attendees to strengthen their leadership with the theme “ACSA Leaders: Champions for Every Child.” ACSA’s premier conference will feature keynote speakers Elizabeth Smart, Hamish Brewer, and Donna Porter and DJ Batiste. For the first time in ACSA history, those unable to attend the in-person event will have the opportunity to attend the Summit virtually.

2. African American networking event July 30
ACSA Member Services is sponsoring an African American networking event, “Black Student Achievement: Intentional Strategies for Success” featuring special guest Joe Jones, executive director of the Willie B. Adkins Scholars Program. This event is moderated by Senior Director of ACSA Member Services Margarita Cuizon-Armelino and Senior Director of Equity & Inclusion Adonai Mack.

3. Brandman University webinars
Brandman University’s School of Extended Education has teamed up with experts to feature live webinars and on-campus events focused on innovative ideas and practical solutions for working professionals in your industry. Upcoming webinars relevant to school leaders include “Racial Healing: How to Become a Mindful Ally” (July 29) and “Using Culturally Relevant Pedagogy to Promote Student Achievement” (Aug. 20).
