3. Get to know IgnitED keynote Rod Paige
Hear from lifelong educator and former U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige during the keynote address at IgnitED, the ACSA/National Association of School Superintendent’s federal advocacy conference. As secretary, Paige was an unstinting advocate of student achievement, employing “best of breed” solutions to achieve results towards the department’s goal of raising national standards of educational excellence.

This academy is intended for district and site teams including superintendents, assistant superintendents, site administrators and equity administrators interested in educational equity and in closing achievement gaps in their schools and districts. The academy will help participants learn how build and embed continuous improvement processes in their own local context to support LCAP Implementation.
