Classified leaders from throughout the state gathered recently for ACSA’s 2026 Classified Educational Leaders Institute, held Feb. 18-20 in Burlingame. Institute Planning Committee Chair Antonio Romayor Jr. said the conference drew more than 150 leaders who experienced engaging keynotes and sessions.
“The sessions, provided by classified leaders and partners, provided insights and best practices on artificial intelligence, HR, self-care, leadership, growth, and so much more,” said Romayor, chief operations officer for Imperial County Office of Education. “Shout out to the CEL Council, institute planning committee, presenters, and ACSA staff for creating an event that fostered belonging, joy, learning.”
Attendees explored this year’s theme, “Leading With Purpose: Empowering People, Elevating Possibilities.” They also heard from inspiring keynote speakers Dr. Candy Singh and Kevin Bracy while strengthening their professional networks.
