The California Student Aid Commission has prepared a fact sheet to help LEAs fulfill the new state of California requirement that all high school seniors complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid or California Dream Act Application. The California state budget signed in July 2021 authorized $350 million for Teacher Residency Capacity, Expansion, and Implementation Grant awards. The Teacher Residency Expansion Grant RFA has been re-released for grants to provide awards up to $25,000 per resident for new or expanding residency programs. Applications are due to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing by 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2023.
