Member support services will not be interrupted during temporary building closures

Although the ACSA offices are closed until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic, several essential services are still being offered to our members, including access to the Member Assistance & Legal Support Team under the direction of Margarita Cuizon-Armelino, Senior Director of Member Services.  “ACSA is committed to supporting education leaders statewide, especially during times of great need,” Cuizon-Armelino said. “Because needs are fluid and unique for every administrator, we believe keeping as many services open as possible during this time is what is best for our members.” This team has recently been very busy responding to the many calls related to March 15 notices. The seven experienced advocates are available to respond to such issues as:
  • Complaints/investigations/administrative leave.
  • Due process rights.
  • CTC issues.
  • Settlement agreements.
  • Contract reviews for superintendents and other administrators.
  • Evaluation questions.
  • Job search advice and inquiries and other general legal questions.
“March is traditionally a very busy month for administrators and we’ve made outreach a priority even before the COVID-19 pandemic,” Cuizon-Armelino said.  Get help by emailing
