Students can attend CASC Summer Leadership conference
The CASC Summer Leadership Conference for high school and middle school students and advisors is scheduled at UC Santa Barbara July 25-28, 2022.
“CASC Camp” is a fun, life-changing experience for all students who want to lead in their schools, communities and beyond. Advisors, activities directors and staff are also welcome to participate in the special track tailored for educators. Take home the leadership skills necessary to transform your student council and solve the problems you see in your school.
This inspirational, skilled-based program focuses on teamwork, conflict management, interactive meeting skills, presentation skills and project planning in its core curriculum. Students work in small groups led by peer trainers to develop their skills. Robert Pruitt will keynote the program.
The program is open to any student regardless of whether he or she currently holds a leadership position. Seminars cover ideas for successful activities and general sessions motivate students to set a positive tone on their campuses. Scholarships are also available and are based on verification of family income.
