The sum of $68,942,400 remains to expand the Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program. Eligible applicants are Local Education Agencies interested in securing grant funding to recruit and support classified staff who already hold an associate or higher degree to complete a bachelor’s degree and earn a California teaching credential. The CDE, in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education and the Butte County Office of Education, has announced the Phase 3 CA MTSS request for applications is open. This grant will provide funding to awardees and an opportunity for school sites, LEAs, and county offices of education to build capacity toward full implementation of CA MTSS to improve outcomes for all learners.
