ACSA leaders met in Burbank Oct. 12-14 for governance meetings. During Thursday’s Leadership Assembly, members representing each region heard legislative updates, an equity presentation, and reports from ACSA President Erin Simon and ACSA Executive Director Edgar Zazueta.

Assembly members also accepted the nominations of three individuals for ACSA Vice President: Daryl Camp, superintendent, San Lorenzo USD; and Julie Vitale, superintendent, Oceanside USD. They also accepted two nominations for the office of Vice President for Legislative Action: Dana Carter, principal, Yucaipa Adult School; and Gina Potter, superintendent, San Ysidro SD.

Voting for both officer positions will take place during the May Leadership Assembly.
