Claire DeLoge’s childhood was anything but stable. Growing up in a tumultuous environment, Claire says she felt ashamed and embarrassed about her home life. She battled anxiety and depression, often blaming herself for her upbringing. But with the support of friends and a determination to break free from the cycle, Claire found hope in the classroom. School became her sanctuary, providing a respite from the chaos at home. She graduated in June and plans to enroll at Shasta College.
