Osborne School, Santa Clara COE
Erick De La Rosa’s journey through high school has been marked by perseverance and transformation. Despite financial hardship, he remained determined to earn his diploma and build a better future. His leadership emerged early when staff invited him to serve on the School Site Council, later leading to his selection as Osborne School’s first Santa Clara County Student Board Member. In this role, Erick delivers bi-monthly reports, developed strong communication skills and proposed a land acknowledgment now read at meetings. A 4.0 GPA dual-enrolled college student, he graduated a semester early and is working toward the State Seal of Civic Engagement. Erick plans to earn his AA degree, pursue vocational training, and continue growing as a leader and role model.
