R7: Annual CEL dinner attracts 900 attendees
Nine-hundred classified staff and administrators attended the sold out CEL Annual Fall Dinner on Oct. 18 in Modesto — making it the largest crowd ever.
It was a memorable evening to celebrate classified staff. One of the highlights is the district shoutout, where staff and administrators cheer as loud as they can when their district is called. This year, attendees outdid themselves with pom-poms, noise makers and clappers.
The keynote speaker, motivational humorist and author Kay Frances, talked about how to manage your stress, keep your sense of humor and take care of your health. Her hilarious delivery had the audience laughing and left them energized and excited to take on their challenges with renewed vigor.
