R16: Women in Leadership Summit hosts Dolores Huerta
Region 16 recently held its seventh annual Women in Leadership Summit with civil rights leader Dolores Huerta. Keynote speakers LACOE Superintendent Debra Duardo and ACSA President Erin Simon were followed by a panel of LAUSD’s top women leaders Ileana Davalos, chief, Human Resources; Karla Estrada, deputy superintendent; Denise Collier, superintendent, Region West; and Frances Baez, chief academic officer. Women from all over LAUSD came together to for an inspirational day of learning. ACSA Region 16 is supporting, encouraging and lifting up women leaders and leading with excellence.
