R7: Students celebrated during charter ESS events
Each charter in Region 7 holds their Every Student Succeeding recognition event in January or February and selects one student to move to the region level. The nominating committee then selects one student to represent Region 7 at the state level during ACSA’s Leadership Summit in November.
ACSA San Joaquin Charter held its Every Student Succeeding event at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Fifteen students from 10 school districts were honored at the event. ACSA Tuolumne Charter recognized 19 students from schools across Tuolumne County.
The region provides a $1,000 scholarship to the ESS student as well as funding for the student to attend the recognition event at Leadership Summit.
