R2: Retired Leaders Charter visits air museum
Region 2’s Retired Leaders Charter visited the Chico Air Museum as part of their meeting in March. The tour of the museum included information about airplanes from WWI and WWII as well as more modern equipment. There were also displays of space shuttle equipment and memorabilia from collectors and airplane enthusiasts.

“The Chico Air Museum is a special gem. We had the opportunity to see many antique airplanes and learn about the Chico Army Air Field which trained pilots between 1942 and 1945,” said Charter President Louise Johnson. “As educators, we enjoyed this opportunity for our own lifelong learning experience.”
