The Region 18 Retired Charter hosted a Member Appreciation and Retiree Recruitment event on June 28 at the Scripps Ranch CAL PROs office. The room provided a spacious environment and allowed those in attendance to interact and socialize. The attendees also completed a survey designed to help plan future ACSAR meetings and activities. Everyone enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and sandwiches organized by Jill Brogan.

After getting acquainted, ACSAR Board members were introduced and briefly explained their role as part of the greater organization. Near the end of the event, a drawing for prizes was held. Prizes included tickets with reserved parking for a San Diego Padres baseball game donated by Jill and Michael Brogan. Debbie Burke awarded elegant gift baskets, which she assembles for each meeting, to drawing winners.
