Reunion Day at Moreno Valley USD
September 20, 2021
The Moreno Valley Unified School District hosted “Reunion Day,” a day to reconnect families with schools and prepare students for the first day of instruction in August.
Every school hosted an activity to welcome their families back on campus such as tours, magic shows, food trucks, music, carnival games and free popcorn! At the end of the day, everyone enjoyed a free concert by the Pacific Crest Drum Bugle Corps at Vista Del Lago High School.
“We had a wonderful time welcoming our families back to campus this weekend,” said Moreno Valley Unified School District Superintendent Martinrex Kedziora. “Our families were eager to see principals and teachers, look around their schools, and see what’s in store for the school year.”
More than 31,000 students returned for in-person, on campus learning — the first time since March 2020.
