More than 100 students, staff and families gathered on Nov. 9 for a morning of appreciation for veterans from Freedom Crest Elementary School’s families, staff and community.
Menifee USD Superintendent Jennifer Root, Library Media Technician Cassandra Diaz and Freedom Crest Elementary Principal Eli Orr took part.
“This is a remarkable event and I am so glad that we are able to acknowledge our veterans,” Root said. “It is also a delight to see our children honoring those who have served in the armed forces and to celebrate their valor.”
