Students creating face shields with 3D printing
April 20, 2020
Capistrano Unified School District, in partnership with College and Career Advantage, ROP is supporting student Kyle Vallone, a junior at Tesoro High School, in 3D printing face shields for our healthcare providers. This project provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their 3D Printing, engineering, and manufacturing skills they are learning in their CTE courses as well as provide a critical service in the community. In addition, our partners at MatterHacker, Kaiser Permanente OC, Hoag, and Mission Hospital are all taking part in this effort. We are so proud of Kyle, our instructors, and our community members who are taking action.
