ACSA’s signature summer institute for principals goes virtual June 22-25
June 8, 2020
Take just three mornings this summer to transform how you lead by attending ACSA’s Virtual Summer Leadership Institute.
ACSA’s signature institutes for new and aspiring principals at UCLA have been re-imagined as an intensive three-day virtual event to help principals thrive during unprecedented times. Attendees will hear from nationally-recognized speakers and discuss in facilitated small groups how they can apply what they learn in their schools, both virtually and as schools begin to re-open.   Featured speakers are:
  • Douglas Reeves, Ph.D., the author of more than 30 books and more than 100 articles on leadership and organizational effectiveness;
  • Dr. Sharroky Hollie, an educator, administrator and university professor who provides professional development in the area of cultural responsiveness;
  • Tom DeLapp, chairman and founder of Communication Resources for Schools, who has trained nearly 250,000 educators on effective communications, community engagement, and media relations; and
  • Pam Robbins, an independent consultant who works with school systems, state departments of education, and universities around the world.
There will also be a Superintendent Panel presentation on best practices for leading virtual learning in schools. Build your leadership toolkit and connect with other educators from around the state.  The professional relationships you make during this institute will continue to grow and provide support as you enter the 2020-21 school year.
