Menifee Union School District recently held its Fall Family Resource Fair, drawing more than 300 attendees with numerous giveaways, including three brand new bicycles. The purpose of the event was to provide families of the Menifee Union School District with access to much-needed resources.

Nearly 30 organizations were present to provide resources on family matters, education, advocacy, health, wellness and more. The event on Saturday, Oct. 28, also featured a variety of other activities, such as pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and health screenings.

Attendees even had the opportunity to learn about current employment opportunities and apply “on the spot.” Walk N’ Rollers was present to provide bike safety training and riding lessons to kids.

“We are grateful for the partnerships with the various organizations present,” said MUSD Superintendent Jennifer Root. “Moreover, it was great to see so many families come out and take advantage of the resources available to them. This event exemplifies our commitment to empowering our families.”
