Walnut Valley USD Board of Trustees appointed and welcomed Jane Roh as Director of Educational Projects and Assessments during the August 8 meeting.
Roh spent the last three years as an elementary principal of a Dual Language Immersion school in Placentia-Yorba Linda USD.
She has also served as a Title I/ELD Coordinator, ELD Instructional Coach, and high school Language Arts Teacher.
Roh holds a master’s degree in education from Concordia University and bachelor’s degree from Occidental College.
She succeeds Mary Wendland who was appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Student Services in Hemet USD.
The San Bernardino City Unified School District started the 2023-24 school year with several new school principals who will lead their campuses towards academic excellence.
The schools with new principals are: Arrowhead Elementary School, Felicia Noel; Inghram Elementary School, Nertha Arroyo-Goodly; Urbita Elementary School, Dennis Wolbert; Vermont Elementary School, Alejandro Hernandez; Wilson Elementary School, Dorothy Daft; Richardson PREP HI Middle School, Shannon Cabanas; Arroyo Valley High School, Manuel Gonzalez Jr. (start date to be determined).
